Thanks for signing up to become an Employer on affix’s platform. We are so excited you are joining our community of Employers and quality Candidates!

Because legal terms of service are not always the easiest thing to understand, we have explained ours in language which we think is nice and clear. This summary is for information purposes only, and the full and complete Terms of Service (that you must carefully read and accept before becoming an Employer) are located here. If there is any inconsistency between this document and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service will prevail. Any capitalised terms have the same meaning as in the Terms of Service.

What are you signing up for?

When you sign up to become an Employer on our platform, you are signing up for the opportunity to become part of our growing community of Employers and quality Candidates. Joining this network will give you the opportunity to find vetted Candidates and hopefully, your next great hire. You will be able to run the entire process, from initial catchup through to the payment of any Recruitment Fees.

When you sign up, you are consenting to receiving emails from us confirming your registration, notifications about active recruitment processes and from time-to-time emails regarding new offers or features on our website. You are also agreeing to pay any Recruitment Fees.

What do you need to do?

You will be responsible for managing the recruitment process from start to finish. While we provide the Candidates, you will ultimately have to make the process your own. This will include preparing position descriptions, asking the right questions in interviews and making sure the candidate is the right fit for your business – this part of the process we take no responsibility for. Any employment opportunities listed on the platform should be immediately available and ready to be filled by the right Candidate.

For as long as you have an account, you’ll need to make sure you keep your secret stuff secret! This means all passwords and login details shouldn’t be shared around. You should also take care to use the Platform in a way which protects your devices and our internal systems. You can sign up for an account using this link.

How do we screen our Candidates?

In order to maintain a high quality of talent on the platform, all Candidates are evaluated by us to make sure they’ve got the skills and attitude to have an immediate impact in your business.

What is the cost of recruiting via the platform and how do payments work?

Signing up to become an Employer on our website is free. We want to remove any barriers to you accessing top-end talent.

Once a Candidate has been engaged in your business, you will have to pay a placement fee. This can be paid as one lump sum of $7,500 plus GST, or as a monthly payment of $750 plus GST for 12 consecutive months.

All Recruitment Fees are paid via electronic funds transfer or direct debt. These are all handled by IntegraPay.

What shouldn’t you do on the platform?

Communication: the affix platform offers a number of unique features which facilitate smooth, seamless and hassle-free communication between Candidates and Employers. Under no circumstances can you communicate with Candidates you’ve been introduced to via the platform, outside of the platform. This means no sneaky LinkedIn messages or emails. Where you engage a Candidate outside of the platform, any Recruitment Fee will be immediately payable. This is the case unless you can provide written evidence that you were having conversations with that Candidate regarding employment opportunities before being connected on the platform.

Discrimination: affix is proud to be a place for all sorts of wonderful and unique people. You should absolutely not advocate, or support discrimination, based on race, religion, age, national origin, language, gender, parental status, sexual orientation, or mental or physical handicap. We won’t accept any behaviour like this on the platform and will terminate your access to the Platform immediately.

What happens if you no longer want to be listed as an Employer on the platform?

If you no longer want to be listed as an Employer, that is totally fine! Just let us know and we will remove your profile from the platform immediately.
