Bio
Briony, or Bri (pronounced br-eye) for short, has been instrumental in shaping and evolving the brand identity of affix from day 1. With her decade-long experience in tech recruitment and her passion for design and photography, Briony takes inspiration from various industries to create engaging designs and visual concepts that resonate with our audience. Most often you’ll spot Briony behind the camera snapping team and event photos, in Canva whipping up a new design that came to her during her barre class, or creating opportunities for connection among the team as we eat one of her many famous cake recipes.
The other part of Briony’s role is as a Talent Partner, where she drives end-to-end talent acquisition strategies and builds relationships with our clients & candidates. Briony works mainly across software engineering roles and believes recruitment should (and can) be a positive, empowering experience for everyone. Day-to-day this involves client briefings, employer branding initiatives, candidate research and market mapping, building talent communities, stakeholder engagement and account management, candidate coaching, consulting, scaling recruitment processes and practices… and more.
When she’s not busy driving her three boys around, Briony can be found scrolling design interiors or with her nose in her iPhone creating a new playlist. She’s a stickler for details. One of our favourite things about Briony? Her big heart and kind, caring nature guarantees Briony will always be there to check in on how you’re doing… and even ask you about your twice-removed cousin who just had a baby.
