I think we can all agree building fires aren’t cool at all, and worse yet is these type of generally quite avoidable through up to date equipment and fire safety processes.
This business provides the solution for just that, and has been at the forefront of both saving lives and billions of dollars for clients for over 6 years when it comes to fire protection and regulation standards through their innovative software currently used by 200 clients across A&NZ moving into the UK. In the past year they have been acquired by a very well-known listed organization that has led to some extremely exciting opportunities from a design perspective and as such, are looking to grow their team.
With an influx of clients and a push to modernizing their web and mobile suite of products, the team are investing heavily in reimagining their current and future products to a global customer base. Working closely with a Senior UX Designer, your day to day within this role can be split into 4 separate themes:
Research – Working closely with internal subject matter experts and Engineering teams to find out what is working and what isn’t
Define – Documenting and contributing to grow the Product Team’s design system path forward
Design – Creating experiences that work for customers first, while also meeting business and growth objectives
Refine – Finesse and continually improve the user experience of all products and processes for both customers and wider global company stakeholders
You like diving into good problems, but you love diving into the RIGHT problem. This means researching, defining and approaching product design in an evidence-based way to back the “why” factor in your decisions. Once you’re familiarized in the environment, you will be given autonomy to take ownership of your own projects. Like a hawk you will always on the lookout for inefficiencies and how things can be automated and streamlined.
You’ll be familiar with tools like Figma, Miro and Adobe and equipped with UI experience to make you deadly enough to follow design systems. You’ll come packed with a variety of both qualitative and quantitative research methods, and know how to apply them.
The perfect person here would be someone that has had experience in a SaaS or Enterprise environment and have worked in Agile teams previously.
