Affix is partnering with an incredible start-up making a real difference in Australian Healthcare during the COVID-19 crisis. Their cloud-based Practice Intelligence Platform is helping medical practices stay open and provide care for their local communities that is informed by expert industry knowledge, medical practice management experience and technical excellence.
To support rapid customer growth and ambitious plans into 2022 and beyond, we are seeking a talented Senior Engineer to join us in building insightful and valuable health software solutions as part of a cross-functional team. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to use your skills to deliver insights our users can translate into better healthcare outcomes for their patients and improve their practice management processes.
This is a chance to be part of the team from the ground up as they are designing, building, and launching new products and continually evolving their platform.
The Platform
The first-of-its-kind solution works intuitively as PowerBI but displays data in easy-to-understand dashboards to medical practices with a visual representation of their practice data alongside selected metrics and KPIs.
Combining sets of data, reported over time, they help practices understand whether the key parts of their business are performing as they need to be and where they can make changes to improve their business and their patient healthcare outcomes.
About the Role
Your day to day in this fast-moving start-up will include operating as part of a squad, working with your team to build and automate for a wide range of solutions to the challenges practices face.
Working with an extremely fresh code base with next to no technical debt, you will be working on scalability of the product through the AWS S2 environment, building new features and designing APIs with Node/Python, deploying with Kubernetes and a flair of data engineering within the gig. The opportunity will play a critical role in productionising and enhancing scalability of the platform as it takes their users from hundreds into the thousands over a short period of time.
As the role expands and the team continues to grow, and there will be plenty of opportunity for professional development and learning new technologies.
