If you haven’t yet heard the buzz about our good friends at 99designs, then let me fill you in! They’re expanding their team and championing creativity in new ways to bring even more opportunities to people all around the world.
As part of this growth, we’re on the lookout for an SEO Manager to help accelerate their organic traffic growth at a global level.
A little bit about 99designs
99designs is the world’s global creative platform that makes it easy for clients and designers to work together to create designs they love. Their mission is to champion creativity to create opportunities for people around the world. Founded in 2008, 99designs has grown from a small, online forum into a worldwide community of talented designers that is now the go-to solution for businesses, agencies, and individuals.
So what’s this role about I hear you ask?
As a global marketplace of freelance designers and clients, this role poses a complex, yet exciting SEO challenge to solve SEO growth within a two-sided marketplace that is present in multiple languages, and in a highly competitive environment.
So this gig is all about helping to drive new, high intent traffic through their core growth funnels, creating value and conversion optimisation. This requires a creative and critical thinker who can balance the art and science in optimising for search – not simply driving traffic, but understanding how the traffic driven fits into a scalable growth strategy.
A little about you
SEO is what you love. It speaks to you! You have a curious nature and an interest in tinkering and ‘looking under the hood’, so to speak. Analysing data comes second nature to you, and you use a data led approach in decision making.
You will have a strong SEO technical base, with a thorough understanding of crawling, indexation, linking, structured data, and ideally internationalisation, combined with the ability to develop and execute scaleable content marketing strategies with an internal team of content specialists. Experience with complex website structures, non-linear products and cross-domain SEO strategy will be highly regarded, though not mandatory for this role.
You will enjoy building relationships with the broader marketing, creative, product and engineering teams to deliver effective SEO outcomes that support both organic growth, and the broader 99designs’ brand values. And working closely with an effective, high-output content team, to provide insight and advisory to further scale 99d’s content efforts, well it comes second nature to you.
Just a little bit curious?
Whether you’re an up and coming SEO specialist or an established SEO professional – Shout out, I’d love to hear from you.
