Now, we’re after a Senior Paid Media Manager to be the newest member of this epic team..
To make this role a shining success, you’ll need to have some solid chops in the Paid Media patch + a genuine comfortability playing a key role in leading the specialists and AM’s that will sit underneath you, coupled with some decent exposure to sinking your teeth into some BIG + beautiful Paid Media strategy for a delicious bunch of clients that boast some of the most well known and respected eComm brands in the biz. 
We’re really looking for someone who’s comfortable managing sizable accounts and budgets and that gets their kicks from flexing their strategic and leadership muscles in an agency environment. We’d like to think you’ll have some ripper client facing experience and feel confident in creating and managing some beautiful yet challenging Performance strategies. You’ve even turned those strategies and campaigns into successful wins for your client portfolio in the past, and you’ve got the runs on the board [results] to show for it.

In fact, you’re probably in an agency [or driving paid media for an in-house eComm brand] of a decent size as we speak! And right now? You’re likely keen to take that next step up.

  • Play a key leadership role within the Paid Media team and take the reins on managing the agency’s larger, more strategic accounts + collab with the coolest bunch of clients to create and execute customised performance strategies;
  • With the support of the specialists + account managers in your team, you’ll play a key role in creating, executing, managing + reporting on complex performance strategies and campaigns whilst leveraging all the ‘COOL’ tools that get the job done!
  • Achieve ripper ROI/CPA for all clients in your ‘folio;
  • Reporting, but make it human-centred. You’ll be quite discerning about how you do it and innately understand how each of your clients likes to be reported to;
  • Stay ‘on-trend’ with ALL the shiny new digital things/platform developments, while sharing your learnings with your team to ensure they’re constantly developing and evolving within the agency; And
  • Manage all things budget related to drive exceptional results for the Paid Media department and the agency more broadly! 

And you? FULLY relate to the points below: 

  • Around 5+ years of Digital Performance experience across Search, Social and/or Display;
  • You feel comfortable in managing larger, more strategic clients and ad-spends;
  • You’re comfortable operating in a leadership role, you get your kicks from mentoring and developing a team of exceptional Paid Media stars that will report into you and you’ve got some experience doing exactly that; 
  • Experience with eComm clients is highly advantageous;
  • Strong confidence navigating Excel;
  • You’re no stranger to managing your own workload and prioritising what’s important; 
  • You have natural problem-solving skills with lots of confidence initiating dialogue with clients and teammates on your thoughts for how to fix them;
  • You’ve been in a senior role in agency land and have a genuine desire to continue to grow and evolve your leadership skills as part of a bigger Paid Media team; 
  • You’re a good talker and can communicate openly with empathy and thoughtfulness; And
  • You have energy and enthusiasm and a real drive for delighting your clients.
