More recently, Panviva have introduced the Digital Orchestrator to enable businesses in their digital transformations by allowing them to take an omni-channel approach in integrating with IVR, chat bots, self-service portals, and any other channels.

Panviva is run out of Camberwell, Victoria and has offices in the USA and UK. They are an agile company, small enough for each employee to play a pivotal and valued role in the development of their products.

A little about the role…
Panviva have embarked on an exciting SaaS transformation journey, involving the rapid modernisation of their product and a shift towards a microservice architecture running on PaaS infrastructure on Azure. Their innovative work has already been recognised by the media and a number of Analyst firms such as Gartner, having received their “Cool Vendor” title in BPM.

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer who will work closely with the testers, product owner, DevOps, and support team to build class-leading products within an Agile Framework. Panviva are big on good coding patterns & love the SOLID principles. There are some React projects in the pipeline, so we are looking for someone who has done at least one React project recently. We’re open to candidates who are more backend leaning but are looking to grow their fullstack capability.

You will be working with an interesting mix of technologies across Panviva’s multiple product lines including the flagship product, the innovative Digital Orchestrator offering, and the public APIs designed to enable customers to create their own integrations with Panviva. There is a vast spectrum of technologies in use and they are always looking to adopt new technologies that provide a competitive advantage. Some of the core development technologies at play include C#, .NET Core 3.1, React/Redux, SQL Server, CosmosDB, Elasticsearch, and Azure Search. Additionally, they focus on automation in their ALM strategy using methodologies, tools & technologies like TDD, DDD, Azure DevOps, and Docker.

Let’s jump into the specifics of the gig:
This role will be responsible for ensuring the best-of-breed delivery and implementation of Panviva’s product ecosystem.

Reporting into the Development Manager, the main responsibilities of this role are:

  • Design and development of Panviva’s growing microservice architecture
  • Design and development of Panviva’s public API suite
  • Playing an active role in ensuring the whole team is developing resilient high-quality code that conforms to code standards.
  • Proactive consultation with the product team to ensure excellence in the product’s design
  • Close collaboration with the QA, DevOps, and Support teams to ensure all changes flow smoothly through the full SDLC
  • Proactive maintenance of technical documentation
  • Mentoring junior developers to enable them to grow in their role.

The skills you need to bring with you:

  • Development experience in using C#, .Net 4.7 and .Net Core 3, ASP.NET 5 and ASP.NET Core 3.0 (MVC/Web API)
  • Experience with Entity Framework, EF Core, and SQL Server
  • Experience with RESTful API design
  • Strong understanding of design patterns and full comprehension of the SOLID principles
  • Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • Experience with Agile Scrum
  • Ability to independently facilitate full SDLC
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Proactiveness in building performant and resilient systems
  • Experience with Azure, Platform as a Service (PaaS), Serverless
  • Experience with React/Redux – even just one project will be of interest!

Bonus points

  • Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS)
  • Experience with Build and Release Pipelines in Azure DevOps/VSTS
  • Experience with the Event Sourcing pattern
  • Experience with Okta and OIDC
  • Experience with Azure Search, Elasticsearch
  • Experience with strategies and patterns on migrating from legacy systems
  • Microsoft Certifications: Azure Developer Associate, 365 Developer Associate, MCSD: App Builder
