I think we can all agree building fires aren’t cool at all, and worse yet is these type of generally quite avoidable through up to date equipment and fire safety processes.
This business provides the solution for just that, and has been at the forefront of both saving lives and billions of dollars for clients for over 6 years when it comes to fire protection and regulation standards through their innovative software currently used by 200 clients across A&NZ moving into the UK. The opportunity
With an influx of clients and push to modernizing their web and mobile application, the team are at an exciting point in their journey of re-platforming their web product to move towards a .NET Core Microservices architecture. Coupling this, they have a new suite of greenfield mobile applications that they plan to build mid-next year in Xamarin Forms to a growing UK market.
Due to the rapid uptake of their products through their acquisition, the team are looking to scale throughout 2021 which will leave an opportunity for the right person to grow into either a Tech Lead or Team Lead position.
The work
Their current monolithic Windows Desktop Application has been decoupled (roughly around 70%) to move towards a new platform built in modern .NET Core and Vue.JS Front End. A very large percentage of the work is based around the modernization of their core product into a Web Platform, you will be expected to work 50/50 between both the Front End and Back End designing and developing the application. With greenfield mobile first apps in the pipeline for a number of clients in the UK, they will expect you to roll up the sleeves to build first-of-class cross-platform apps in Xamarin Forms.
