affix are pleased to be partnering with this NFP business who work with a variety of businesses in industry, government and the Australian and international community to develop and administer the rules for domains.  It’s job is to provide safe, secure and reliable namespace for more than 20million Australian internet users.  

This is a role with a blank canvas where the successful person will be able to drive best practice, invest in innovation and research, produce valuable insights for data, identify trends in the market and across various businesses and ultimately deliver on projects across the broader business which will cover both technical and all of business projects. 

Reporting to the COO this is a brand new role as this business looks to scale.  This role will be responsible for the delivery of strategic and departmental projects from planning to full implementation.  Working with the Executive team to deliver projects this role will influence and guide key stakeholders from all facets of the business. Responsible for establishing an EPMO function using agile project management tools this role will also establish a project reporting framework for the Executive team, Board and its committees.The Project Director will review and improve business systems and processes to enhance the project planning and management capability of the organisation. The role requires a strong attention to detail, and an ability to foresee and resolve inter-departmental gaps and resource dependencies.

With one direct report this role will have a longer term goal to expand the team. 

Must Haves:

  • 10+ years of experience in project/program management within technology and business 
  • Agile Certifications
  • Demonstrated experience working with Confluence and Jira (epics and User Stories), and planning and managing agile sprints
  • Proven experience managing and delivering business change,  communications management and training plans.
  • Solid experience managing all elements of the Project lifecycle
  • Ability to work with Executives and drive consensus among diverse business stakeholders
  • Must be an Australian Citizen
