About the gig: 

This is a special opportunity and one that you won’t see popping up often within this agency. We’re after an experienced PPC Specialist and yes, this role really does come with those leadership opportunities clearly mapped out for the right person, and in your grasp if you want it. What more could you ask for? 

To be the newest member of this epic team, you must hold the unofficial title of  ‘PPC Superstar’ and it goes without saying that you truly know a thing or two about the world of Search and Social (extra brownie points if Search happens to be your real bread and butter). You know what it means to Account Manage some sizable accounts and budgets for an agency. In fact, you’re probably in an agency of a decent size as we speak! And right now? You’re likely keen to take that next step up or flex your muscles in an agency that will give you the opportunity to do so.

To make this role a shining success, you’ll need to know your way around sizable performance spend and accounts (#obvs) and you’ll know just what levers to push and pull to drive success for your clients. We’d like to think you’ll have client-facing experience and feel confident in creating and managing some beautiful yet challenging PPC strategies. You’ve even turned those strategies and campaigns into successful wins for your client portfolio and you’ve got the runs on the board (results) to show for it! You really are a dime a dozen.

Here’s a look at what you’ll be owning and evolving in the role: 

  • Build and manage multi-channel paid advertising campaigns for your clients across Google Ads, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more;
  • Continuously optimise your campaigns to deliver the best results for your clients;
  • Write engaging ad copy; 
  • Review Google Analytics, sales and performance data, pulling campaign insights and creating insightful reports in Data Studio;
  • Plan and execute campaigns that effectively use different channels, tactics, messaging, and creative across the sales funnel;
  • Come up with new ideas and tactics and develop concepts that align with the client’s goals;
  • Be actively involved in meetings and discussions to plan campaigns, compare results and provide insights and expertise;
  • Build strong relationships with clients through regular communication and meetings; And
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to external clients and internal teammates. This means meeting deadlines, being proactive, and being flexible in your delivery.

To make this role a shining success you’ll have:

  • Around 2 years experience running paid campaigns with a specialisation across Google Ads, Facebook & Instagram;
  • Experience across a range of channels in Google Ads will be highly regarded – in particular Google Shopping & Merchant Centre, Display & YouTube advertising;
  • Strong understanding and ability to navigate Google Analytics;
  • Experience reporting on key campaign metrics and developing reports for clients and stakeholders;
  • Experience working with DataStudio or similar dashboarding tools will be highly regarded;
  • Strong experience collaborating and confidently talking to clients and explaining your strategic thinking – You are someone who gets genuine enjoyment from working with people (it’s a must!);
  • A strong understanding of digital marketing fundamentals – from understanding the customer journey and stages of the funnel, right through to the role of different tactics;
  • Comfortable balancing working on the tools to build campaigns, while working collaboratively with your team and clients; And
  • Confidence in solving problems yourself and you thrive on finding a solution that works for your clients and their campaigns.
