It’s really no secret that we’ve been working with our good friends at Alpha Digital for some time now.
We have had the absolute pleasure of helping them grow, scale, and track down some of Brisbane’s best minds across a bunch of digital verticals.
We’re wrapped to be linking arms to find them a brand new Paid Media Director to step in and take the reigns of one of Brissy’s most cherished and respected Digital Performance teams.
Folks, if you’re in “performance land” you’ll know that Alpha Digital do some *bloody* good work. They’ve got an awesome rep around town and they work with some epic brands too. Think City Beach, Superga, Dissh, and Pillowtalk, Lorna Jane [and heaps more, obvs] getting them the most incredible results, time and time again.
But the best bit? They’re not part of a network. They’re homegrown here in beautiful Brisbane. And by golly, they are gooood. Actually, they’re the best.
Now, let me tell you a little bit about this Paid Media Director gig, shall I?
As the Paid Media Director you’ll be leading, inspiring, and managing the most epic team that delivers ‘all things’ digital media. You’ll be leading a team of around 26 Paid Media specialists to create digitally-led + performance-driven solutions. All with the goal of bringing your department’s portfolio of clients closer to their audience. And of course, helping make Alpha Digital the most effective marketing partner in all the land.
The aim of your game will be to champion the team and take the lead on team engagement and delivery of work. You’ll also be the leading point on those BIG, meaty, strategic client decisions, coupling that with being accountable for the performance, growth, success, and evolution of your department.
In this gig, you’ll have an important seat and voice at the leadership table which is why we’re after a genuine, caring, and high caliber leader. Someone who leads by example and with integrity is really what’s important here.
When imagining what our ideal person looks like, we’re picturing that you’ve probably got around 8+ years of Paid Media experience, with around 3-4 years in a leadership role. You’ll have an innate understanding of the global and local Digital Media ecosystem, including publishers, platforms, and technology players, with a strategic, empathetic, and creative mindset.
You’ll have some pretty epic stories to tell around how you’ve turned BIG client briefs into outstanding digital marketing plans, and the communication / interpersonal skills that allows you to build trust and garner respect quickly.
