.NET Developer (remote)

Hello lovely folks of Brisvegas – it’s around about this time each and every year in Melbourne that I consider a move to your fair and sunshine-y city. Let me tell you some more about this equally sunshine-y remote opportunity with a Melbourne headquartered business I’m working with…

affix is excited to be partnering again with Panviva to find the next .NET Developer to join their team. Finding the right person is more important to this business than where you are located, so we are open to people living anywhere in Australia for this one!

Let me introduce you to Panviva!
Panviva is solving the problem of knowledge within organisations – they build knowledge ecosystems so that employees and customers can get the information they need, and fast. Through their suite of products, they provide their customers with entire knowledge management ecosystems. They are in the business of making the complex, simple, and providing users with seamless experiences. They have a challenging year of work ahead – balancing re-architecting and migrating their legacy product, alongside scaling their modern product offerings.

They are the world leading cloud knowledge management solution to guide users step by step through processes, policies and procedures in real–time providing role-specific, contextually relevant information to the end user enabling them to perform their job more effectively and efficiently. More recently, Panviva has introduced the Digital Orchestrator to enable businesses in their digital transformations by allowing them to take an omni-channel approach in integrating with IVR, chat bots, self-service portals, and any other channels.

Panviva have embarked on an exciting SaaS transformation journey, involving the rapid modernisation of their product and a shift towards a microservice architecture running on PaaS infrastructure on Azure. They are an agile company, small enough for each employee to play a pivotal and valued role in the development of their flagship product.

A little about the role…
We are looking for a .NET Developer who will work closely with the testers, product owner, DevOps, and support team to build class-leading products within an Agile Framework. Panviva are big on good coding patterns & love the SOLID principles. There are some React projects in the pipeline, so we’re open to candidates who are more backend leaning but are looking to grow their full stack capability.

You will be working with an interesting mix of technologies across Panviva’s multiple product lines including their legacy flagship product, their innovative Digital Orchestrator offering, and their public APIs designed to enable customers to create their own integrations with Panviva.

There is a vast spectrum of technologies in use and they are always looking to adopt new technologies that provide a competitive advantage. Some of the core development technologies at play include C#, .NET Core 3.1, React/Redux, SQL Server, CosmosDB, Elasticsearch, and Azure Search. Additionally, they focus on automation in their ALM strategy using methodologies, tools & technologies like TDD, DDD, Azure DevOps, and Docker.

Let’s jump into the specifics of the gig:

What Panviva can offer you:
At Panviva you will have the opportunity to influence the development of an industry leading product. You will be empowered to build your own solution- design, architect, & be a voice of innovation and technical direction on the team. In addition to this, you will be supported to:

  • Innovate – yeah, we know this one gets thrown around a lot. But Panviva really walks the talk: they have a dedicated Hack Team for devs to bring your ideas to the table & prototype.
  • Gain certifications and training – Panviva are Gold Microsoft partners and so there is the opportunity to get trained and certified in Azure.
  • Be flexible – these folks are flexible and get that life just happens! You’ll be supported with flex start and finish times and working from home, when needed. While flex isn’t only about or for parents – it’s worth mentioning that Panviva are also seriously family friendly.
  • Panviva are a pretty social bunch too – with a calendar of community events (proud supporters of Girls in Tech)!

Just a little bit curious!? Let’s have a chat to see if this could be your (happy) work place.
