Their application provides smart solutions for accounting firms to easily manage their documents with integrated templates, intelligent reporting and benchmarking tools.
With a product suite rolling out successfully to a large, loyal client base, they are in need of a Support Engineer to continue to provide solid service and support as they continue to be industry leading software solution vendors to heavy hitters in the Accounting and Finance realm.
The team & the work
Due to an internal promotion of an existing Support Engineer moving into a DevOps role, the team are looking to repeat the same success story with a new, graduate or Junior looking to build their career in IT!
For the first 6 months of the role you can expect a lot of phone and video calling, screen sharing and ticket raising/handling with clients, assisting them through a variety of general technical issues. Once you have a handle on this, you’ll move onto more complex problem solving merging documents, writing SQL scripts and more exposure to the business’ Azure environment.
This role serves as a great way to understand the business’ core product suite inside and out with a lot of awesome humans to help build your skills. As you start to finesse your knowledge, the business rewards this by growing their people internally, from recent examples of Support Engineers moving to DevOps to even QA or Customer Success career pathways.
