Infrastructure Project Manager

6-12 Month+ Contract. IT infra Projects.

This business has been going from strength to strength building on their people and culture, technology uplifts, recent vendor engagements, investment of the latest technologies across the cloud. 

This enterprise organisation needs an experienced Infrastructure PM to join their team and take on the delivery of a key project across infrastructure. The emphasis will be on migrating on-prem DC into the cloud.

Essential skills are:

• Minimum 10+ years experience in Infrastructure Project Management
• Need expertise in migrating on-prem DC into the cloud (likely AWS), moving VMware from existing DC to cloud
• Experience on VMC (VMware Cloud) on AWS
• Experience with Hybrid DC setups
• Experience and understanding of AWS native and containerisation
• Experience working on Data Centre strategies with vendors, going through RFP (at the evaluation stage for responses)
• Experience in build board-level DC strategy business cases and presentation decks
• Understand of TCO and ROI
• Experience working with various project management methodologies  such as Waterfall and more iterative approaches

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Technology PM to really own complex projects end to end. It needs someone who is an experienced, passionate and professional project manager who enjoys working both autonomously and in a collaborative culture.
