Who is AHA?
Australian Healthcare Associates (AHA) is Australia’s largest health and human services consulting firm.  They have a strong working relationship with Commonwealth and State governments, for whom they’ve provided innovative support and advice for over 25 years.

Their portfolio of projects includes engagements of major national importance, evaluation and review, research and analysis, and outsourced program administration. All work is carried out to the highest industry standards.
With offices located in Melbourne’s CBD, they are professional, ethical, nimble and smart, and work tirelessly to provide the exceptional service that everyone associates with AHA.

AHA has a range of software solutions currently deployed, which provide critical infrastructure and services across Australia.  They range from application registration and document processing to securely importing and analyzing millions of lines of data each month.  

The role 
We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer to join their small but expanding development team.  The team provides bespoke software solutions for projects and clients. 

As part of the team, you’ll:

  • Design, develop and maintain custom software solutions
  • Within a solid DevOps practice, Configure and Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines.

What you bring to the table…

  • Hands-on experience developing with .NET (C# and ASP.NET) within a fast-paced demanding environment
  • You are passionate, yet nimble, and able to adjust to changing requirements
  • Got a strong background across the full SDLC, from design and documentation of solutions to deployment and maintenance.  
  • A positive ‘go-getter’ who rolls up your sleeves to get things done – no job is too big or too small.  
  • Someone who works transparently and able to work with the team but also autonomously.
  • Customer service focussed developer with great communication and relationship skills.  
  • A proven track record in delivering development across multiple projects, simultaneously.
  • Team player who proactively takes ownership and accountability for outcomes.

Tech Bits..

Must have (Recent / Current) commercial experience across the below stack:

  • .net or .net core  
  • C# 
  • HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Angular 5 or similar framework
  • SQL

Nice to have:

  • .net core 2 
  • Entity Framework
  • Azure Platform Technologies
  • Source Control and DevOps

The Selection nitty-gritty…

  1. Demonstrated commercial experience in Technical Criteria (listed above)
  2. Customer service focus with great communication and relationship skills
  3. Creative and effective problem-solving skills
  4. Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously, taking responsibility and ownership for your work.
  5. Must be an Australian Citizen and undergo an Australian Government Security Clearance
