If you have been following us for a while it will come as no surprise that we have been working with 99designs for some time, building out their teams across the business, as they continue to scale globally and create the platform they’ve always dreamed of. This time we are working with the Email Marketing Comms & Customer Retention Team to find a brilliant and creative Email Marketing Coordinator.
This is one of those great roles that allows you to use both the right and left sides of your brain. Creativity and an eye for design is crucial for success here, as well as having the tools to be able to execute and own the email marketing calendar.
Day to day you will work with the wider marketing team to deliver email comms that engage subscribers, convert customers and drive repeat purchase through the distribution of newsletters, automated workflows as well as product & platform related comms.
This is not a set and forget kind of role, you will get involved in ongoing channel optimisation, A/B testing and have opinions about improving segmentation. You will be excited by data and understand the need for comms to be delivered to the right person, with the right message, at the right time.
You will believe in great design and understand the impact it can make in the world and have the desire to share this with others. You will be someone that thrives in a collaborative environment, but is also capable of working independently. You want to push yourself creatively, technically, and professionally in a team that loves breaking boundaries, and never settles for mediocrity.
You are passionate about learning and development, the business will support you with this – they want you to succeed and will give you the tools and training you need to do this and as the team continues to grow, so will your opportunities for growth.
You will have had a couple of years in a similar role and understand the fundamentals of email marketing and segmentation as well as have some hands on experience with HTML and CSS. You enjoy the balance of having to think deeply about problems and getting in the weeds to solve them.
99designs puts its people first and values culture above all else. They understand their people have a life outside of work and are happy to be flexible around that. So if you are looking for 4 days or reduced hours or just more flexibility, that’s OK – whatever is going to allow you to do your best work. This is just one of the MANY reasons 99designs is a great place to work – I’d be happy to share the others with you, but in the interest of keeping this concise, I am happy to do that with you over the phone.
