I’m flippin’ delighted to have buddied up with the legends at Ryvalmedia to help them find a superrr critical Digital Director to join their crew and play a key role in helping them scale their team here in Brissy.

They’re pretty well established in Melbourne so now it’s time to scale Ryvalmedia Brisbane and put some solid digital boots on the ground here for them.

This is where you come in…

We’re after a Digital Director with some notable and senior chops in the Digital and Paid Media space. 

Working alongside two exceptional Brisbane Directors, you’ll take the reins on delivering the highest quality Paid Media services to clients. You’ll also feel comfortable stepping into a role as a leader within the agency, as you’ll be playing a key role in scaling the digital team as it grows. 

Your mission? To be the thought leader in ‘all things’ digital strategy, planning, buying and execution for Ryvalmedia Brisbane as a whole. [Cool huh?]

As the ‘go to’ product specialist in this space, you’ll get to sink your teeth into some exciting Paid Media strategy and campaign implementation across a number of cool clients in the Brisbane market. You’ll have a seat at the leadership table, getting to play an important role in the future growth of the agency and for the right person, this role will lead to a future opportunity as a Head of Digital. 

Now, this is a gig where you’ll be both strategic and more than comfortable jumping ‘on the tools’ so we’re looking for someone that’s happy to jump in and get their hands dirty predominantly across Paid Media channels. You’ll have a great understanding of the full digital mix but your strength will be in driving holistic Paid Media strategies, with strong experience in executing successful and high performing Paid Search and Social campaigns in particular. 

In this gig, you will also be client-facing to a point, you’ll be the strategic lead for all digital media and delivery and will get to work closely with the directors to lead the development, implementation and advancement of digital strategy as a key point of difference for Ryvalmedia in the market.

Here’s a sneak peak at what you’ll be getting up to in the gig:

  • Develop an understanding of Ryvalmedia’s clients and provide strategic advice to support the delivery of business goals;
  • Be the go-to person for ‘all things’ digital media and digital expertise across the entire client partner base;
  • Take the reins of performance media strategy for all new and existing Ryvalmedia Brisbane clients; 
  • Work with the Head of Product & Innovation [national] to influence businesses seeking digital transformation and evolution;
  • Be comfortable jumping ‘on the tools’ and working with the wider team to formulate strategies and uncover new opportunities for key clients;
  • Oversee, train, grow + mentor the RyvalmediaBrisbane engine room to ensure digital excellence and a competitive advantage over other agencies; 
  • Establish high standards across all elements of digital media planning and buying including: responses, media plans, optimization, reporting, budget management and deadlines;
  • Assist with ideation, brainstorming and execution of high-value new business pitches; And 
  • Work closely with the Brisbane Directors, Head of Client Service and the Head of Product & Innovation (national) to ensure strategic alignment and growth across the business.

And here’s what we’re looking for in YOU.. 

  • A minimum of 5+ years experience in the industry taking the lead on meaty clients and campaigns that you’re proud to demonstrate;
  • Ripper experience leading Paid Media strategy across a range of online channels including Search, Social, Display, Programmatic and Video; 
  • A deep comfortability getting ‘on the tools’ with Implementation skills that sit predominantly across Paid Search + Social channels;
  • You’ve got strong chops when it comes to building out channel recommendations and translating it into a media recommendation/plan;
  • Top notch skills working across all the ‘cool’ tools and platforms; Google Ads, Search Ads 360, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Campaign Manager 360 & Google Analytics to name a few; 
  • Extra brownie points if you’ve got experience using Data and Analytics tools like; Google Tag Manager + Adobe Analytics;
  • A genuine excitement to play a key role in the growth of the agency and the team at a leadership level;
  • You’ve got the right morals and desire to do GREAT work and put your clients and their success at the forefront of everything you do; 
  • A comfortability presenting to clients & stakeholders on digital/ paid media strategy; And
  • Incredible business acumen + financial and numerical nous.
