Digital Campaign Manager


We’ve recently buddied up with a pretty epic technology and communications agency that’s homegrown here in beautiful Brisbane, and we’ve been working across their business, building out some awesome teams with even more awesome humans. 

Founded in 2015, this bespoke technology and communications agency has been growing from strength to strength since its inception. A once small tech biz, they’re now housing 50 incredible humans who are passionate about one simple goal – offering beautiful, human-centered, globally scaled solutions tackling large, complex data-oriented challenges.

This agency offers services spanning across Experience Design, Digital Marketing, Development, and even Brand + Graphic Design, too. Outside of the products and services they offer and the technology they build, the heart and soul of this business sits within their culture. 

The two founders are heavily involved in the business. They’re approachable, empathetic, and suuuuper people-centric. There’s a real emphasis on community and togetherness in this biz, and they’re big on rallying everyone together for monthly company outings and events, ensuring that no one works on their birthdays [they’re paid, too], and making sure there’s fun stuff happening weekly. For them, it’s important that their people love doing their work/coming to work, so creating a sense of belonging and safety in their business just means the world to them. 

Also, a majority of their employees have small, young families, so working from home flexibility is a given as they understand the importance of what a healthy family and work-life look like for people nowadays. 

And this role?

This gig will see you championing some exciting Campaign + Digital Strategy where you’ll find yourself tackling meaty campaigns for both the internal agency brand as well as their customers. You’ll have a bunch of variety in your day, coupled with ‘All The’ rope you could possibly need to get #super creative and think outside of the box when it comes to coming up with ideas and techniques on how to get amazing ROI and success on your campaigns.

Now, I should mention, you’ll have access to an epic Social Media Specialist as well as a Content Writer amongst a talented client solutions team in this gig, so we’re really looking for someone who is a bit of a Digital / Campaign Strategist with the technical expertise to plug in and add some real value across in the digital space [Think, Paid Media, SEO with a sprinkling of Display + CRM].

To make this role a *bloody* beautiful success, we think you’ll be someone who just loves to lift up the hood of the brands you’ll be working with. You’re a natural collaborator, you love to ask questions, think outside of the box and really understand the needs of the customers you’ll be collaborating with at a digital level + you’ll be pretty quit whitted, smart and not opposed to testing and trialing the best approach when it comes to formulating some pretty ripper campaign strategy.  

Here’s what you’ll get up to day-to-day:

  • Lead the digital media and Campaign Strategy to engage and convert off-platform digital audiences, driving site engagement, retargeting through to conversion;
  • Provide strategic digital media recommendations for always-on and campaign based activity, always applying the lens of how digital campaign channels and paid media advertising works as one; 
  • Provide insights into the performance of digital campaigns and paid media through lead indicators and how they apply to lag-indicators such as CPA;
  • Lead the relationship between consumer and digital media buying across Paid Search / Social, SEO,  programmatic, Display and CRM while also providing weekly status updates to the team on deliverables and campaign performance;
  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences;
  • Play a strategic role in monitoring SEO and web traffic metrics;
  • Collaborate with the wider teams to ensure brand consistency for customers and the agency brand;
  • Continuously improve digital performance through capturing and analysing the appropriate data/metrics, insights and best practices, while popping your creative hat on to think outside of the box at a digital campaign level; And 
  • Collaborate with wider departments (client solutions / sales, social media, creative etc.) and manage reputation, identify key players and be at the helm of providing best practice for digital and campaign management.

  • You’ve been the driver and navigator of Digital Campaigns and you’ve got those seasoned digital strategy skills to match; 
  • You’re bread and butter sits firmly in the world of Paid Media, SEO, with a sprinkling of CRM and Display;
  • Digital Strategy is your jam and you just love to lift up the hood of a brand(s) and think outside of the box when it comes to innovating  and utlisiting the best digital channels to drive some ripper ROI at a campaign level;
  • You understand the full digital mix and how Social Media, Content, Web Design and Creative play a role in the wider campaign strategies you’ll be driving; 
  • You’re highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate;
  • You’re analytical and love to get deep in the data and analytics tools to form up strategy and communicate campaign performance in a beaut way; 
  • You’ve got high levels of EQ;
  • Communication is your jam! You can seamlessly duck and weave in and out of campaigns + digital strategy, while keeping the team on track and aligned to campaigns and their performance; And 
  • You’re passionate about keeping yourself abreast of the changing digital landscape and you’re not afraid to test and trial new things with a goal of getting the best results at a campaign level!
