I have buddied again with my pals at Australia’s MOST prominent media company and I’m pretty excited about it, to be honest! This media company has a market-leading presence in content production across broadcast television, publishing, and digital. And you guessed it, folks, they’re growing.

So, who is this you-beaut client you ask? 

At their absolute core, they’re here to bring all Australians closer to the moments that move us. They’re first on the scene, with their finger on the pulse. 
On demand & in the moment.

Most recently, they’ve had the rights to some of the biggest television events to hit our screens over the past couple of years, and they’re doing exceptionally well. They’re seeing incredible success as we all continue to navigate out of the COVID storm and there’s absolutely no stopping this biz. Honestly, they’re doing better than ever. 
Now. Let’s talk about this role then, shall we?
This is a newly created opportunity that’s manifested purely out of growth, coupled with the BIG goals being kicked by the greater business and the team here in Brisbane as well.
Day-to-day, you’ll be *really* hitting the pavement in this gig. You’ll be getting out there and building meaningful and impactful relationships. But before you get to a point where you feel good to do this, [like THE BEST version of yourself] you’ll get a tonne of inducting, training, and opportunity to shadow other successful team members. So if you haven’t been in a similar role to this before or perhaps you’re moving on from another industry vertical, don’t let the fact you haven’t done this so much deter you from putting your hat in the ring!
Most of the relationships you’ll be forming with clients will be with some of Australia’s best full-service agencies, and you’ll be ensuring that they’re well serviced and getting great results. This means lots of fun client entertainment, long lunches, cool sporting events, and of course, much, much more.

Fancy some dot-points around what you’ll be owning in this role? I’ve got you!

  • You’ll be playing an integral part in helping to create end-to-end sale solutions for clients [which are mostly agency-side]. This will see you planning, designing, and formulating, some pretty nifty communications that you’ll be presenting to your clients;
  • You’ll be ducking and weaving in and out of meetings with clients where you’ll be presenting your ideas, plans, and strategies;
  • You’ll be delivering upon agreed revenue goals from your agency clients by leveraging the full suite of broadcast and digital assets; 
  • You’ll deliver a highly personalised, top-notch level of service and account management to your clients, helping them unlock growth possibilities; And
  • You’ll take full ownership and accountability for the sales results within your portfolio.

To make this gig a success you have:

  • ​Circa 2+ years experience in either an agency or publisher environment with a *shiny* track record of consistent, solid results;
  • A good understanding of how to help develop and execute sales plans/strategies that achieve fabulous results; 
  • The ability to be fluffy with creative concepts, but hot-damn, you’re someone who loves getting down and dirty in the data/metrics to back up your ideas and strategies;
  • An ability to adapt, iterate, and have the confidence in yourself to present your ideas to clients with clarity & finesse;
  • A real confidence in being able to work in an environment where things move quickly, where you’ll be needed to [at times] execute at short notice, and you’re a-ok with that; 
  • A super collaborative working style, and the ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams, making magic happen;
  • A commercial mind, whereby you get the numbers side of what’s involved in a sales opportunity like this; And
  • A proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products as well as the ability to pick up new tech and systems quickly!
