Client Support Specialist
Affix is delighted to partner with 99designs once again, this time to help them find that special someone to be the heart and soul of the day to day running of their Melbourne hub.
99designs is a global creative platform that makes it easy for designers and clients to work together to make designs they love. They bring opportunities to designers globally through design contests and direct project work, and they have a community of designers located in 192 countries. Since their humble beginnings in 2008, 99designs has gone from strength to strength and is
regarded as one of Australian’s leading tech businesses.
What is the role?
Working within a global client support team, the Melbourne crew provide a dedicated local (AU) client support experience through phone, email and online chat, providing a world-class experience to all clients with web, digital and graphic design needs, from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies.
Working in both an inbound and outbound capacity, you’ll essentially be the point person for existing and onboarding 99design clients, proactively supporting and guiding them ensuring they are getting the most value from their experience. Specifically, you will:
And where may you fit into this exciting picture?
We’re on the lookout for a friendly individual with creative energy and great communication skills, a human who has curiosity, creativity and a love for providing amazing customer experience. You’ll work directly with the next generation of entrepreneurs, influencing small businesses by helping them get the best visual branding possible.
The experience checklist…
99designs hold their values dearly – they believe in putting people first, and people helping other people to create their own success, that design has no borders, and that the journey should be fun. They want every person they engage with to be delighted with the 99designs service and experience.
As they continue to scale, they are committed to building an inclusive and diverse team that reflects the communities in which they operate. They want people to feel like they belong and can bring their whole selves to work. Their aim is to continue to foster a collaborative environment with a keen focus on innovation, growth and ownership.
They are on the journey to diversity – very transparent with their progress, and open to employee feedback. They believe that welcoming, supporting, and celebrating people from all
experiences and backgrounds will enable them to build a stronger and more creative environment on their platform and within their own teams. Below are some of the things they do to support their people.
Career development + learning
Career development is huge at 99designs – there are a variety of learning and development programs to
create lots of space for people to learn in a way that works for them. Every single employee can take some time-out to do a course, do some research and reading… basically do anything to help them learn + contribute to the business better!
Support for the community
In addition to 99nonprofits, 99designs provide one paid volunteer day a year for you to support a charity and the community as you see fit! They have a generous, beautiful culture – they have annual bake sales to raise money for their favourite charity – the Global Women’s Project (they even match all staff donations!).
