Brand Marketing Manager [eComm Business]


I have just linked arms with a hugely successful diverse and inclusive clothing label headquartered here in Brissie, and I am personally pumped to be out in market, waving their flag and to be helping them find their newest recruit. A you-beaut Marketing Manager.

So, who is this client you might ask?

Our client has very quickly become synonymous with high-quality activewear, that regardless of size, shape, or stage of life, they’ll have something fabulous for everyone. 

They were founded in Brisbane by two gals who became friends over baby playdates and long pram walks in search of coffee. Together, they navigated returning to exercise post babies and the many changes their bodies experienced over this time. They both felt pretty frustrated with buying activewear online and receiving products that looked beautiful on models but didn’t perform in real-life. 

So? They decided to take matters into their own hands and launched in 2016.

I had a pair of their leggings while pregnant, and just recently I’ve bought another. Aaaaand, I can firmly say that they are my absolute favourite. 

They’re squat proof. 
They’re firm where they need to be. 
And, they have pockets. 

Now. Let’s talk about this role, shall we?

This role will see you really steering the growth of a niche eCommerce business through a targeted & meaningful marketing strategy.

You’ll be focused on sales and growth by delivering, and influencing the marketing calendar & sales strategy, looking after functionalities, AB Testing and bug-fixing. Oh, and throw in some site merchandising, analytics & reporting too. You’ll be getting all up in the data, being hands-on, always looking to optimise successes & conversions. 

And you? 

  • ​​You’ve got extensive, hands-on experience and knowledge of eCommerce platforms like Woocommerce & Shopify;
  • An innate understanding of the full customer journey from lead to repeat purchase and beyond;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of at least one major email marketing system [ideally Klaviyo];
  • You’ve got a super collaborative working style, and the ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams, making magic happen;
  • You are passionate about the eCommerce & Retail industry, and have up-to-date knowledge in new strategies and best practices;You’ve got extensive experience with strategy, customer relationship management, and lead generation;
  • You’re fluffy with creative concepts, but hot-damn, you love getting down and dirty in the data/metrics to back up your ideas;
  • You are super confident working in an environment where things move quickly and ideas can be actioned at short notice, and you’re a-ok with that;
  • You’ve got gorgeous communication skills and can not only cleverly articulate yourself in writing, but in person too; And
  • You’re super commercial and have the analytical skills to pay da’ bills.
