On the back of investment in the business and sustained growth, Cargo CRew are now looking for a true B2B Business Development Specialist who enjoys working with a high-quality brand that is disrupting the market and someone who has built a solid network on the back of delivering exceptional solutions and real value within retail, hospitality and service-based industries.

Reporting directly to the Sales Director you’ll have access to the right tools, data and be backed by what is quite frankly an amazing business – both their product (brand/marketing/production and the passionate team behind them.

You love the chase, identifying, qualifying leads and of course, excel in proposing and the closing (I do mean the winning…) You’ve led and contributed to sales pursuits and now looking for that next challenge, that next opportunity to shine and come in and deliver growth within an already evolving business – at the crux of it all, you are proud of what you’ve done and hungry to do more!
We are looking for business developers who can take genuine ownership of the building and nurturing an active pipeline and take the lead on outbound opportunities, have real hunger in self-sourcing business opportunities, through networking, referrals and prospecting.

A proven track record? … this is important, we need to see how you’ve channelled your passion for outbound sales and inspired growth from within existing and new markets, and you’ve done this by consistently delivering professional, client-centred solutions particularly within the B2B side of things within retail, hospitality and service-based industries.

The role.
We require an experienced, adaptable and resourceful solution seller to play a key role in developing and implementing strategies for client growth in existing and new markets. 

  • Drive the acquisition of B2B clients within retail, hospitality and service-based industries;
  • Proactively identify, cultivate and qualify new client opportunities via outbound activity;
  • Identify and understand client requirements, the industry vertical in which they sit and work with key internal resources to develop strategically compelling proposals/tenders in order to acquire the client. Design the appropriate service model for the client. Focus on mutual value creation;
  • Lead and deliver client presentations. Convert new client opportunities to new business;
  • Handle all client contract negotiations including the completion of relevant contracts and agreements (e.g. MSA, stock holding, application for credit, etc…).
