To put this into numbers (we all like numbers…) these guys dress over 25,000 crews across 80 countries… not bad considering they were working out of a shed in Clifton Hill some years ago… I can go on about their ambition, culture and why they REALLY are great, but maybe over a conversation. Reporting to the Founder & Creative Director, this role is responsible for supporting the business in achieving its objectives with respect to developing and delivering uniforms clients and their staff want to wear. Along with general duties, the Apparel Production and QC Manager will be responsible for the general product inventory range as well as corporate client uniform programs
From the top, the key responsibilities of the role;
An integral member of the team, you have strong technical knowledge of garment construction, specifications and patternmaking. You work with pure passion and drive to ensure quality standards and consistency are maintained across the product ranges. A key driver and collaborator within the business and with key suppliers you will manage technical functions – including critical path delivery schedules, fit sessions, reviewing and updating specifications & tech packs,); manage supply chain partners; have a passion for attention to detail, ensuring that products are thoroughly tested and pass Cargo Crew’s high-quality standards.
At the very core; you are a passionate, creative and agile leader who brings experience, is courageous, displays open communication and can build new processes that adapt to the dynamic changes that exist within the Cargo Crew business. You will develop and ultimately have a deep understanding of the brand and Cargo Crew products, as well as a clear picture of the needs of Cargo Crew clients.
