Case study
ChemCloud + affix
Meet ChemCloud:
ChemCloud, an Australian tech startup, is revolutionizing chemical procurement by digitising business processes. Their platform connects distributors and manufacturers across sectors like agriculture, automotive, and cosmetics, simplifying the discovery, sourcing, buying, tracking, and selling of chemicals and raw materials. This allows customers to focus on innovation and sustainability. Think EVs, green chemistry, and clean energy. ChemCloud's approach reduces waste and manual processes, driving digital transformation in the chemical industry. With significant growth in active users and transactions, ChemCloud is a key player in making the industry more efficient and sustainable.
What we did:
affix was thrilled to be tasked with helping ChemCloud to find an experienced Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join their tight-knit team. A thorough end-to-end recruitment process was run from tapping into our network for suitable candidates to going to market with a captivating advertising campaign, screening and interviewing candidates, and finally shortlisting a small vetted group of skilled candidates for ChemCloud to consider. This was all done whilst waving ChemCloud’s flag and giving candidates the best possible experience. The result was the appointment of a true product engineer who naturally thinks about the customer experience, and the problems they are solving for, as much as coding. affix also created a fun and humble promotional video to help highlight Chemclouds brand and work culture. What they said:
“The thing we loved about affix was that they tried to understand our business, our team and our culture, before deciding who the best candidates might be. Kushla became a (temporary) extension of our team - and unearthed some great candidates, who were a fantastic fit for us.
We were so happy with who we were able to have join the team. If someone is looking to unearth some great candidates that are a fit for your team, I would highly recommend affix.”
