Our story

Creating a genuine alternative

Since 2015, we’ve been building affix as a genuine alternative to traditional recruitment, helping ambitious companies and job seekers achieve better outcomes.

Traditional recruitment often created compromises: slow processes, rigid fees, and inconsistent candidate experiences. We believed there was a better way to connect growing companies with great people.

From day one, our mission has been simple: to create the best recruitment experience imaginable. We developed an industry-first flexible model, combining embedded talent partnerships, retained search, and advisory support, so companies can access exceptional talent without compromising their financial goals.

We also know that lasting impact comes from true partnership. Taking time to understand each organisation’s goals and unique challenges. Whether securing C-suite leaders, building technology and go-to-market teams, improving gender balance, or supporting ANZ companies expanding into the US, we’re committed to solutions that scale.

We’ve built deep relationships across the tech ecosystem and stayed committed to giving back. Through our partnership with Code Like a Girl, we’ve placed over 190 women, girls, and non-binary interns to help build a more inclusive future in tech.

With an average of over 15+ years of recruitment experience among our team, we’re committed to supporting your growth through an approach that blends collaboration, accountability, and integrity.
