We’re partnering with a seriously creative informatics startup who are taking on the big issues in health tech. They’re a curious bunch, made up of some of the smartest minds in the industry who are experimenting with ideas that inspires positive change. They are building an open, scalable, aggregatable medical data monetisation IoT platform capable of integrating any connected external medical device.

We are looking for someone that is business orientated. What does that mean? You will understand the value of the developed features for the business and understands how the technical development affects other processes within the company like budgets, timelines, documentation, verification and validation and marketing. The Tech Lead will act as 2IC to the CTO, and together you will work on scalable microservices architecture layout based on Azure Cloud platform, MS technology stack, MS SQL or Postgres DB (some NoSQL DB knowledge, and RabbitMQ messaging would be great). Solution architecture ownership sits with the CTO; however, this role will play a significant role in its input and will be in charge of the architecture of individual services.
Your role will be 50% team leadership, 50% hands-on in the code, so above all else you will be a great leader with proven leadership skills and experience running a team of up to 5 people (including testing) in an Agile environment with emphasis on story mapping, task estimations, sprint planning and managing the tasks execution and delivery process within the team.
You will have worked with Medical Software previously, and have a solid understanding of the standards required > experience in Web-based Medical Software development (ISO 13485 and IEC 62304 standards), HIPAA compliance (privacy and security). Understanding Risk assessments and other regulatory processes required to comply with commercialization of FDA’s CLASS I Medical Device.
