Service Desk Analyst


Based in Melbourne’s inner suburbs, this retailer – a household name in fact – is on the lookout for a Service Desk Analyst to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves rostered work, including weekend work on a rotational basis.
This is a Level 2 Support role which will report to the Service Delivery Manager. The role will best suit someone who has the following experience and skills:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a Desktop Support/Service Desk Analyst role (Level 2)
  • Windows and AD support experience
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues across hardware and software
  • Linux server experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive and self-managing attitude
  • Customer-centric approach
  • Experience supporting end-users in retail or FMCG environments

In order to be successful in this role, you will not only possess strong technical support skills, you will also be a strong communicator who works well at a fast pace. You will be autonomous by nature and solutions-focused; diligent with strong attention to detail.
