Senior Technical Support


Based in the Sth Eastern suburbs this is a permanent role within an FMCG company who have a long-established presence in the market. A household name, with ambitious tech goals for the next few years, the successful candidate will play an important part in this company’s growth plans and system upgrades.
This is a hands-on role which would suit a Technical Support Engineer who is confident in administering IT Infrastructure projects and business as usual support operations across platforms, desktops, cloud and networks.  This is a second and third level support role.

As a senior tech support engineer, you will build, support, improve infrastructure platforms and end-user technology environments.  This person will act as a point of contact for the escalation of incidents, including communication with third parties to ensure that issues are resolved in a timely manner. You will provide technical advice and contribute to the IT division’s strategic planning for Infrastructure. The role involves mentoring and coaching team members as well as providing support to IT projects.
You will be analytical by nature and possess strong problem-solving skills. You are comfortable carrying out root cause analysis and designing solutions. You are forward-thinking and love keeping across changes in the market and innovative technologies.  
This role is well-suited to a curious, tech-savvy and energetic senior technical support engineer with a background in:
– 2nd and 3rd level support role in a Windows 2012/16, AD environment
– AWS, Azure and MS SQL experience in high availability environments
– Strong hardware expertise
– Experience across cloud & SaaS environments in a consumer based environment will be highly regarded
