The Who
Affix have partnered with a business in the MedTech industry who are building world-leading software that literally helps save lives!
The story began around 8 years ago. The two Founders (who were yet to meet) both identified a gap in the market and independently came up with their own solutions for a medical simulation software platform. 6 months later they met at an industry conference, got talking, and realised they both had the same idea.
The first version of their platform was launched in 2012, which today is one of the most recognised medical simulation training and education platforms in the world. They now have several products in their suite including the world’s first Heart Rate Monitoring Simulator designed for Emergency Response workers.
With offices in New York, Europe and right here in Brisbane, these guys are changing the face of medical simulation software and are offering an opportunity for someone to lead their product development!
The What
Right, this is where it gets interesting dudes. The software development team is based right here in Brisbane (West End to be precise). I’m looking for a developer who’s a true ‘mobile developer’ with a solid base of iOS development experience.
This person will have a keen interest in exploring and investigating new frameworks going forward – it won’t just be a locked down iOS role.
You’ll be joining a team of 4 full-time and very capable iOS devs under the guidance of a senior developer. The role is primarily iOS development however some of the newer medical simulation software will be pushing toward a JavaScript front end (likely Vue and/or Aurelia) so web-services experience would be helpful.
