The team consists of individuals with high calibre health industry, software development and start-up experience. As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll be pivotal in the continued development of the platform from an operational perspective, as well providing strategic initiatives – both commercial and technology focused. I’m telling you, this is not just your everyday development opportunity – you will have a real part to play in this companies exciting growth. On a day to day basis, you’ll be responsible for requirements analysis, hands-on development through to acceptance testing and deploying to AWS. You’ll be working with a small, passionate, agile and creative bunch who have a real family feel demeanour about them. They live and breathe lean start-up and agile methodologies and also recognise a need to continually test and learn in order to deliver high-quality solutions to their customers.
Our ideal recruit will have:

  • At least 3 years’ commercial experience in Ruby on Rails
  • Familiarity with Linux based, AWS and React.js environments (React is not mandatory)
  • A strong architectural understanding, proactive and considered mindset, as well as a continuous delivery approach. 
  • A commitment to producing clean quality, well-tested code and confidence in delivering end to end projects
  • Ability to mentor peers and junior devs
  • Customer focused approach, and a genuine care for the end product and usability of this
