What if I told you that there is a business here in Brisbane who was founded by a group of legends that previously worked with the likes of Google + Microsoft, and in a very short space of time have built an incredible startup that is now firmly partnered up with FACEBOOK?
I know, right!
Our team met the founder over a beer or two at Newstead Brewery a little while ago now, and they casually dropped into their conversation that they were not long back from a trip to the US where he visited the Facebook HQ’s and personally had lunch with ‘Zuck’ (Mark Zuckerberg). Yeah, no biggie.
Ok, ok, so you want to know more about who these guys are, where they’re going and what problems they’re trying to solve. Well, read on friend.
Founded a little over a year ago, this business is nearing double digits in (staff) and have huge ambitions of building a pretty sizeable crew within the next twelve months and doing it on a global scale too – with their sights set firmly in having a presence in the US and Asia.
At their core, they are a services-based business who have a vision of productising many of their services as they grow. They are specialists in exploring modern digital solutions to create elegantly connected, digitally enhanced, and well-communicated workplaces. In short, they are solving problems for companies challenged with communication, collaboration, and productivity.
Where do you come in?
Well, they’re after a #dataloving Marketing Manager who still wants to be on the tools, and knows a thing or two about growing new leads and converting site traffic. Our ideal person is someone who’s right across the full gamut of the marketing mix, who’s no stranger of being in a tech environment, who is a master of storytelling, and who knows their way around automation platforms. You’re going to be diving SOOO deep into the realms of Facebook land, whereby you’ll be using your seniority and influence to have some pretty heavy hitting conversations with them.
Aside from having some pretty special career runs on the board and great experience (preferably within a SaaS environment) a huge part of hiring for this role is going to based on attitude and culture fit. So, if you’re creative, curious, data-driven and have some cool ways of doing stuff, then chances are you’ll probably get on well. This client takes a shining to people who are smart, work hard and LOVE their craft. And just quietly, you’re going to kick some big-time goals and gain a tonne of respect if you like to take the lead.
