Business Analyst – 100% Digital, Cross-Functional Agile Squad | $110k-130k

So, what the hell is a Business Analyst these days? It’s so broad, ever changing and different from one person (or business) to the next. It’s hard to keep up with.
I have a permanent BA gig available immediately – if not sooner. I’ll try and outline what is required here as best I can, but due to the nature of this one being part of an agile, cross-functional squad, you’ll be splitting your time across infrastructure, technology and performance uplift initiatives as part of a rock star SCRUM team.

That’s a lot of stuff. See? Broad.
The gig itself…

This one is to work within a super high performing, agile squad in the CBD. They’re currently kicking some serious goals, making a name for themselves and generally taking names! Being the awesome team they are, they’re even helping out on projects that aren’t in their remit – cos’ they’re like that. Nice people ‘n’ full of the good feels.

Your role will be sitting within a talented cross-functional team (of 12) looking to drive performance enhancements, infrastructure rebuilds and unlocking new technology capability. Working across enterprise level CMS projects, the squad are at the cutting edge of the technology and are set up as a kinda’ innovation squad working on the sexy and high profile projects and definitely not that BAU life!

A word of guidance and/or advice:

This team is really strong, so you’ll have to be able to hold your own, be autonomous in setting up your own workflow and of course, be able to demonstrate the successful delivery of some impressive digital projects (I’m talking web & mobile apps, websites, content delivery network platforms and other such delights).

This is a permanent gig and we’d love to bring someone on board who can be a mainstay in the crew for a long time.

For all you dot point lovers – here’s some:

  • We hire based on attitude first. So if you’re curious, driven and have your own minimum standards, we’ll probably get on well.
  • We need Digital Business Analyst’s that are autonomous and self-starting. You’ll be expected to rock up to your stakeholders without asking for permission, plan your own week, ask difficult questions and generally get sh*t done!
  • You’re not afraid to challenge the “traditional way of doing things” or to that point, tell people if their approach isn’t the best way.

Vague? Yeah maybe. However, if there is enough in there to spark your interest – pick up the phone and gimme’ a call or apply to win a call from me!
